Nextel Engineering provides modeling & Simulation technology and engineering services in order to fullfil your requirements of turn-key simulation Solutions. We are specialized in the development of cost-effective trainers (such as FNPT and FTD) or engineering simulators and in the development of complete subsystems for large simulators systems, such as Full Flight Simulators or Simulation Centers.

We can provide rapid risk-free solutions based on standards based COTS. Our simulation engineers added more than 100 year-man of experience in some of the most important simulation projects developed in Spain in last 15 years.

We propose full distributed simulation solutions compliant with Network-Centric environments. This distribution can be achieved using different standards, such as the simulation standard IEEE HLA or the new Real Time Data Distribution standard DDS of OMG. We have an intensive experience in the development of distributed simulations using both standards, using our own technology (SimWare and NCWare) or any other commercial technology.

Our software engineering methodology is designed in order to assure the quality and time to market of our solutions. Our methodology fulfil the requirements of the most common standards such as ISO, AQAP or CMMI. This methodology is based on next best practices:

For the specific case of development of simulator models we have adapted our process to a environment of high productivity as Mathworks Simulink. Our process, supported with our tool SimDeveloper enables the development of simulation models based directly from the engineering data package supplied in Mathworks compliant formats.
