Nextel Engineering provides Interoperability
between HLA and DDS systems. Using NCWare it has never
been so easy, direct and cost effective, to connect
legacy and next-generation simulators in a net-centric
environment.
NCWare is a real time networking middleware based on
the publish / subscribe paradigm compliant with HLA
and DDS standards.
Our middleware supports IEEE HLA 1516-2000, DMSO HLA
v1.3 and OMG DDS 1.2 standards that are adopted and
promoted by the Defence and Modelling Simulation Office
(DMSO), US Navy´s Open Architecture Computing
Environment (OACE) and NATO.
NCWare is an interoperability middleware. Offers integration
between DDS and HLA systems with two different but compliant
products:
NCWare use Real Time Innovations DDS middleware for
DDS compliance and many commercial off-the-shelf RTI
for HLA compliance (included NCWare RTI). As an abstraction
layer can be used to interoperate different HLA RTI’s
with DDS or between them.
NCWare RTI. It’s
an IEEE HLA compliant RTI designed for real time
performance in distributed simulations. It offers
the HLA 1516-2000 API with a DDS transport, based
on RTPS wire protocol (OMG DDS standard).
NCWare SIM. Unifies communications
through DDS and HLA with a single API specifically
designed for its use in simulation. Enable the
development of distributed simulation systems
in heterogeneous networks (DDS+HLA).
